Been using these tapes for a number of years, and though not the sturdiest, they are very quick to roll up and that is what I need in appraisal work. I get a couple of years at most out of each one, but heck, for the price they are totally replaceable. As long as they make ’em – I’m buying them. Nuff said. Go get one.

In my line of work I have been through quite a few of these. I’d love to spend a few minutes with their engineers though. They always break two inches from the end of the tape. It can be repaired or fortified if addressed early. Overall though this is the best tool for the job. They are inexpensive, don’t hold dirt and debris, and in a bind don’t make for a bad defensive weapon.
