This hammer is very well made, very durable (just as other Stanley products).. It’s very heavy but not too much so I can see myself using it for years to come. It really does greatly reduce the vibe- I have to say I”m pleasantly surprised with that part and the grip is also good. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

This is a fantastic and comfortable hammer. I’ve had this for several years and it is my favorite hammer for demolition. The curved handle is very comfortable to grip and swing – I like these handle shapes because it feels like a more confident grip and I think I can get more torque when I swing. These has lasted through demolitions, hammering concrete pavers apart, building cabins, etc. In my opinion, this is the best hammer in this price point for durability, power, impact, and comfort. I have another hammer that I use over this one for framing but it is about ten times the price of this hammer and I bought this hammer long before I could make the investment. I have many hammers from other brands but this is the best demolition hammer, hands down. The weight of the head transfers an amazing amount of force and the hammer is durable enough to break, pry, and smash concrete, walls, cast iron tubs, etc.

They say why try to reinvent the hammer but Stanley definitely improved it. The larger striking surface is nice. The magnetic nail starter works great to keep from smashing your fingers. It is a heavier hammer but with the anti vibration feature and the great balance of the hammer it isn’t as noticeable. I will definitely be buying multiple hammers to have for work and home. Overall a great hammer.

I’ve been using this hammer for about two years now and I was a little unsure about how well the anti vibe works at first, but found it worked as advertised. Even thought it’s a heavier hammer, I don’t get any elbow pain after swinging this around for eight to ten hours a day

Even though I have had limited opportunity to use the hammer, I can already tell that the design is of superior quality. The balance is as perfect as can be. The handle is quite obviously nearly indestructible but also made with a super comfortable vinyl grip. And then, of course, the magnetic nail holder on the top of the head is awesome! It allows for starting nails without having to hold them with your other hand. That’s great for hard to reach places. All in all, another great product from Stanley that should last a lifetime. Even after a short period of use it’s clear that the hammer is far & away MUCH BETTER than its nearest competitors. I know that because I have used a steel-shank hammer for almost my entire career & swear by what had always been the best brand of steel-shank hammers. Now with the addition of this Stanley product the “best” hammer has lost its position at the top of the heap.

I Received this hammer and i used it two days ago to install some trim the magnetic nail holder works great on it also the claw will even pull headless nails. next week im going to tear down my moms porch and build her another one cant wait to drives sum 16s with it it dont vibrate the anti vibe works great highly Recommend this hammer especially if you drive alot of nails i was happy to recieve it very impressed.

I bought this hammer because I was working with 10ft height concrete forms and needed a hammer with a duplex nail starter (most hammers with nails starters won’t work with duplex nails) and so far is the best hammer I’ve had.
