There is nothing like this tool anywhere else. I own 5 of them! It is indispensablewhen you need to loosen a nut without marring it in any way. No other standard open end wrench can do that. Once locked in place it will not slip or cam around.

This is one of the best tools I ever bought. I use it all the time. Don’t know how I ever lived without it. You can use it where you would never use a regular adjustable wrench for fear of it slipping.I use it on mangled nuts that otherwise I would have to use vise grips, mangling it more. I wish they had them in other sizes than 10 inch. I would buy them all!!!

Purchased as a gift but I love the concept and saw another one with a soft grip that was considerably more expensive. It resolves the difficulty of getting an adjustable wrench to stay adjusted for a tight fit that avoids damage to the fastener.

An excellent larger than normal adjustable wrench which much more firmly locks onto place than an “ordinary” adjustable wrench. Less likely to slip and and mar bolts. Good addition to the toolbox when an adjustable wrench is needed.

I have owned one of these for a while, like two years. I am a mechanic and have worked on a variety of different equipment, and usually by myself. So when I get in a situation where I need a wrench to hold backup for me, you know what I’m talking about, when the bolt is spinning when your trying to tighten the nut, I grab this wrench because you can clamp it onto the bolt or nut and keep it from spinning. Great wrench for this purpose, use it all the time. I would have bought more of them but I couldn’t find them anywhere until now. Highly recommend this wrench if you are going to be working by yourself. One thing to remember though, after you tighten the bolt or nut remember to remove your wrench, or you will be missing it and trying to figure out where you left the darn thing. Stay busy and be safe.

If you want to break something loose without stripping the bolt head or gouging it with teeth marks from a pair of vise grips, this is the wrench for you. The jaws are flat and smooth, but the locking arm will allow it to squeeze hard like a pair of vise grips and won’t slip. You can then apply heavy torque without fear of stripping the bolt head. Great for breaking loose line fittings for brakes, transmissions, etc., without destroying the fittings.

I bought 2 of these. They lock in place like a vise grip.It holds tight, but I never can get it quite as close as I want to on a bolt because it always seems to leave a slight amount of play (which from my experience, all adjustable wrenches have). My suggestion for improvement is that I wish the tightness of the locking mechanism could be adjusted like you can do on Vice Grips. After owning 2 for a few months now, my final conclusion is that it’s a good value for the price (fairly large and heavy), and is why I bought 2 of them (one to leave in a tool bag and one to leave in a tool box).
