Don’t love it don’t hate it. The locking feature is not my favorite. It is not the most robust staying locked. Some uses this would be excellent, others this could be a big problem. Made in the USA is best feature. Buy American.

I love the action, fit and finish of this tape! Keep the fat lip on the tape Itself as it will fall off in the slot on the body. I’m on my 3rd one of these tapes as the spring has broken in two but I love them so much and the warranty is excellent

I have used Stanley FATMAX for about 13 years and they have stood up to most anything i have thrown at them, whether it be falling from 30+ feet, tape bending over and over, mud rolling up in the tape case, skid across the concrete or left out in the weather for a few days. FATMAX is a great tape and i will choose them everytime!

This 25 ft. fatmax tape has held up well, especially after I lost it off back of truck and accidently ran over it. Fortunately it was soft dirt when it happened. I am very happy to have14 to 15 foot length before it wants to bend. It is very easy to read and takes a beating. I say stanley has a winner there.
