I got this tape a couple of weeks ago and I am really pleased with it. The numbers are easy to read, and I was able to get it to stand out about 10 to 12 feet. Although I don’t use the 35′ tape as much as I used to it still is nice when you need it. It’s a really nice tape.

This measure tape is a great tape. good quality and heavy duty.Housing is well built and shining yellow color is stand-out for easily be found in a pile of stuffs. recoils nicely. Tape is straight and can perform measuring effectively. Numbers are big enough for reading without problem.But a little large for carry around and it would be better with metrics included.

Right after I got this, I used it to put up shelves in my garage. I loved it. I have an older shorter Stanley Tape Measure and I noticed the improvements in this new one. Better take up feature and wider blade for easier viewing. Buy it, you’ll love it.

FITS HE HAND GREAT . THE STICK OUT IS A GREAT HELP. THE END HOOK IS PLENTY SUFFICIENT BUT I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A LARGER HOOK AND MAGNETIC TIP FOR ELECTRICAL WORK ..FOR A LARGE 35 FOOT TAPE THE SIZE IS GREAT .THE LOCKING MECHANISM HAS A POSITIVE LOCK .THIS HAD BECOME MY GO TO TAPE MEASURE .

Great tape measure, really like the tape lock on it, it is muck better quality than others I have. Having a 35 ft. tape measure for home projects is much better than a 25ft. I would highly recommend this for the quality of the product.

Love this tape measure its stand out is great I had it out to 14’. It has a drop protection rate of up to 50’ that’s pretty impressive when laying out a room it works a lot better than a 25’ tape. It has a tether tie off point I like how it has a small end not big and bulky like some other tape measures and no holes for things to get caught up in. The only thing I don’t like about this tape is the mouth is bigger than the older style allowing to much play. And I like the older clip better as well regardless fatmax is still the best tape out there in my opinion

I’m so happy to have added the 35′ Fatmax tape to my toolbelt. Of all the tapes I’ve owned this one gets the best reach out distance, about 13 feet easily. It feels rugged and durable in your hand and, though I’ve only owned the tapes for a few weeks now, I’ve already used it in multiple projects and it feels sturdy enough to last.

At first I was skeptical about this tape, but that quickly changed. The lock was tight and hard to release. After a few hours it broke in and now works smoothly. This tape is well designed. The large numbers make it easy to read in low light situations. The standout is amazing. I was able to snag an edge on the roof from 17’away. It retracts fully and feels virtually indestructible. The belt clip design fits my thick leather tool belt and stays on securely. Does the job it is intended for and then some. I believe this tape will be in my arsenal for a long time.

I have always had a Stanley tape measure for work and this new tape only assures me why. 13 foot stand out people! Yes it actually will, Not 11′ or 12′ but the 13′ it says! Makes siding and small gutter jobs a breeze. Very comfortable fit in my hand for a 35 ‘ tape, smooth operation, and love the rubberized grip to the case. If I had a con on this tape (Not that I do… just something I noticed) is that I would have liked to have had the rubberized grip come up the outside face of the tape opposite the belt clip side a little more. The FatMax logo in that rubber material would have been Great! This is a great tape with Great features and will be my go to for work and home projects!

I am a professional builder/carpenter and have been using this tape as my daily driver for a couple weeks. First thing I noticed was how compact it is for a 35′ tape, only slightly larger than a common 25′ and fits in my tool belts’ tape holder. Putting it to work I found the standard Stanley markings easy to read, the stand-out worked as advertised(not common with most tapes), and the belt clip is a big improvement over many others I have used. The only hiccup preventing 5 stars is the front of the body where the tape comes out is rounded causing the tape to fall over when locking, setting it down and trying to make a mark on the material.
