A great little hacksaw for those smaller projects. It’s petite size makes for easily handling and great control. Even with it’s small size it still has all of the quality that you’ve come to know and expect from Stanley. The blade couldn’t be any simpler to change. Thankful that the knob to loosen the blade is a decent size even though the saw itself is small. It makes it real easy to tighten or loosen. A great buy for your smaller jobs.

This worked well to cut small areas of the Lifeproof vinyl plank flooring around corners and behind toilet for diy job.

Worked great for what I needed (cut through old toilet fill valve and nut). Small size worked ok in the small space I had. Great price.

Pleasantly surprised at how light weight and comfortable the Stanley 6 in hacksaw is. Installing and replacing the blade takes but a few seconds. The thumbscrew that comes with his hacksaw is comfortable to tightening and is large enough to provide you with a solid grip when torquing down your new blade. The grip itself is curved to follow the natural grip of your hand. This is honestly one of the more comfortable grips I’ve encountered in a hack saw. Construction of the grip is a hollow plastic, the build seems solid and doesn’t have any flex. From tip to tip, the overall length comes to roughly 10.5in which makes this great if you need to sneak it into smaller crevices. Weight is fantastic at a super light 5.9oz.Package does come with one blade included. Seems to be of fairly good quality. Gave the blade a few runs through wood and an old rain gutter that needed to be trimmed back and had zero problems. Not bad for an included blade. For someone looking to start a decent collection of tools, I highly recommend to add this hacksaw to your toolbox.

It’s cheap. It cuts metal. What more could you ask for?

This Stanley 6” junior hacksaw is a nice addition to my toolbox. I would not recommend it for commercial jobsite applications with the fine tooth blade it comes with as you have to use a lot of down force to cut through harder or thicker materials. This downforce then causes the thin blade to bend slightly resulting in crooked cuts. Full size hacksaw blades do not bend as easily. It does cut softer wood and trim pieces nicely, so I recommend it for small cutting jobs around the house or for crafting.Pro’s:* Compact size is easy to carry.* Cuts in tight fitting locations.* Durable frame and blade tightening wheel.* Bright yellow handle is easy to find.Con’s:* Hard to cut larger or harder items straight, the blade starts to drift. See pictures (1.5” PVC pipe and aluminum).
