Only used once – but can tell it’s a great coping saw. Blade stays in position, easy to change angle of blade, appears blade changes will be easy. Used it to cut some trim pieces and it did a great job. Time will tell how long the blade will last.

I like a coping saw that tracks well when coping a molding. It is really easy to follow a line for sure be time cuts.

I purchased this just a few days ago. I bought it to help make semi circles into trim pieces. It worked like a charm. Normally i would use a router or roto tool but i needed it to have a cleaner edge and beable to fit it in a small space. Definitely easy to use and easy to alter the blade direction.

I’ve needed a coping saw for awhile and this one fit that perfectly! I don’t really need one that much, but the 360 blade turning of this one will sure come in handy! I’m excited to use this more as I only used it to play around with it since it’s a new tool! Very please with it!

Using the coping saw now. Cutting out vents for flooring. Still using the same blade it came with.

I really like how the handle fits my hand. It cuts smooth around differant angles. I also like how you can make deep cuts

It was a great idea to make the saw adjustable but in reality it needs a little refinement . My front adjustable detent locked in very well but I had to loosen the handle way off to release and turn it. My handle side adjustable tang had slots but didn’t have any detents on the tang to lock the blade in place. I had to hold the tang in place with my fingers to keep from twisting or breaking the blade when tightening or loosening . It needs to be redesigned or improved . I wonder if you could make some kind of a spring loaded easy release lock. I am glad Stanley still makes these type saws as sometimes they are extremely handy.

So I can’t really do much right now because I have a broken hand and it’s in a cast but as you can see in the picture this coping saw will come in much use when I make this series of shelves where the dishwasher was in the kitchen end it will be great for a few cuts that I need that need to be rounded to go around a couple pipes and what not but I can say from the feel of it it’s very durable and I have tried with my right hand to do a rounded edge and it was very durable and solid I would highly recommend this.

I use this more often then I plan to; the light weight plus the super grippy handle make for more precise cuts and less fatigue. I already own a traditional Sheffield and a deep throat version but I find myself going to this saw for coping cuts in trim and veneer. Love it.

STANLEY® TOOLS Sampling sent a Coping saw for review. It has all the traditional features of there trade saws of the past and the 360 blade rotation and cut depth of 6 1/2 inch and the cushion grip did not hurt my hands. The handle fits nicely in my hand and is made of plastic with a rubberized grip feel to it. Have been a life time user of Stanley Products and was thrilled that they allowed me to try this tool first hand. And would like to thank them for this opportunity.

This Pro Coping Saw from Stanley is well made. The handle is just right not to big around but big enough to grip it. This saw cuts smooth and straight. I would buy again.

Not a bad tool for the price.

This saw does the job it is intended to do which is to back cut a piece of trim. It has a pretty comfortable grip. I wish that the metal piece that puts the tension on the blade was a little stiffer, the blade seems to flex a little to much when cutting. I will have to say that all the coping saws I have used have had the same issue so not sure if it can be stiffened up without making it too hard to change the blade.

I do a lot of trim work. This saw would be great for thin pieces if trim. It’s easy and it goes through like butter.

I used this tool to cut the base of my small apple tree. Because of the wide opening the entire piece was able to be cut through. The blade, although very thin, was strong with a great grip. The blade was very sharp which made the back and forth motion very easy. I am now using this coping tool to put a frame around my bathroom mirror. I will be using a miter box to make sure the corners are cut properly.

So far so good with this coping daw. Comfortable handle, sturdy blade. Easy to loosen and change the blade. No gimmicks, just a nice update on a classic coping saw.
