I received this saw as a gift from Stanley. I have never owned a proper Coping Saw, so this was a welcome item. I built some corner shelves and this was very helpful installing the molding as I was able to make very precise cuts. I believe it would really be good installing crown molding.

I have used “Coping Saws” so many times during my young, middle, and now older life, which means I have been using this type of item for over 50 years. This “Stanley Coping” is great. The working distance between the blade and the top of frame is really a working helper. More room to move around the work project which gives you more control on your project and then being able to do the Blade Rotation makes it “VERY EASY” to work with and you can say an enjoyable experience.

The design is tight and weight is almost perfectly balanced, feels great in your hand and you will have no problems changing blades or cutting coves with it. Excellent product !

I was wanting one of these for awhile now. Glad I got this

Did a project for my sister that required box joints. I used a Japanese saw to make the initial cuts, then the Pro Coping saw to make the clean out cuts before using a chisel to finish the joints

Great saw. Well made very sturdy for such a fine blade. The ability to change the blade angles is very innovative

The grip on this saw is excellent providing slip free operation. As far as it’s performance it does require patience as the blade may shift if used in a rush. The hash marks on the metal portion help to set the blade at varying angles and this is a very nice feature as well.

Worked well and should last as long as previous saw.

Nothing new here, basically the same design that has been around for a hundred years. Blade angle can be adjusted to hog out dovetails or cope molding, for example. Handle grip is comfortable. Frame is a bit more substantial than cheaper competitors. Still, doesn’t seem as if one can get max blade tension, even with handle screw fully cranked.

While I don’t use them often – they are a big help in detail work –
