Inexpensively made. Not much heft/weight in the back, but stiff. Hardened and ‘universally’ cut teeth. Handle angle is very good for our tenon work. Works well as a ‘throw-down’ saw. You get what ya pay for. We’ve ground the hardened teeth down on two, re-filed as rip and cross-cut. Works quite well.

This miter saw is just right; not too long, not too short. It is sturdy and has a nice heft to it, without being to heavy. It’s the middle of the winter so I can’t go outdoors and try it out, but I am very confident that this saw will work well and last a very long time. Stanley tools are always good and do not disappoint. I can’t wait for the weather to get warm enough so I can work with this saw.
