Description
The Stanley 25 ft. Center Read LeverLock Tape Measure features a pressure-controlled auto locking system for safe and steady operation. The blade automatically locks at the length to which it is extended, allowing the user to control retraction and thereby reducing the risk of injury and prolonging blade life. This measuring instrument has wear-resistant markings for easy readability on the 1 in. W blade, which has a 7 ft. standout for extended reach. The unique Write-On Label allows users to jot notes and numbers on the side of the tool with a carpenter’s pencil.

I really liked how easy it is to read this tape. I have around 10 tape measures around the house and this is my new “go to”. I like the Leverlock feature. And, I like that tape is a bit more rigid that most of my other tape measures. It is nice when you are doing a solo project.

Great tape measure but not so much for the lock. After just about 3 weeks of using this the locking feature does not work. I can not use it for what I need. I need the locking feature to work as I work by myself.

Overall it’s a good tape measure just very stiff. It take thought and effort to release the lock and I’m sure over the years it would become easier! Right this moment I don’t have time to wait! With Covid I’m very busy!

This tape measure is the best tape measure I have ever used. Clear markings down to a sixteenth of an inch and every eighth of an inch is marked. The Leverlock system they use for the automatic locking is the best I have used, it is strong and sturdy, but responsive when pulling the tape back in. One of the best featured to me is the hook at the front of the measuring tape, it barely moves giving you an accurate reading, I had a Milwaukee tape measure that could move almost a quarter of an inch when measuring, not worrying about that with this one! All around great tape measure!

Concerning the Stanley 25 ft. Center Read LEVERLOCK® Tape Measure. I am extremely pleased with this tape measure. The LEVERLOCK feature is extremely nice to have where your fingers simply apply pressure to lock or engage the blade for use. The overall quality of the product is excellent from its durable case to the blade. The blade’s markings are very easy to read and it’s nice to have fractional markings for use in any application. This allows for quick and easy measurements during use. The blade is also marked with a second scale where 1/2 inch is equal to 1 inch in real life. This is another useful feature. I expect to have this product for use for many years to come. I highly recommend purchase of this tape measure from Stanley Tools.

The Leverlock tape measure works great. Tape is very sturdy and easy to read. Lock sets automatically but it’s super easy to unlock with the bottom button. Only with I’d gotten the one with the magnetic end, but otherwise works great!

As an electrician that works in a lot of 100 + year old buildings i am constantly having to add overhead lights , high hats, and ceiling fans to rooms only lit with lamps. This tape measure made it easy to find the center point of all the new fixtures. Just stretch out the tape and it gives you the correct measurements. It’s well built and the tape locks and returns reliability. You can also extend it out to about 7 feet before it snaps from gravity, that’s about average for most tape measures. Not the type of tool I would have normally purchased but it now has a permanent home in my company truck.
