Description
The Stanley 25 ft. Center Read LeverLock Tape Measure features a pressure-controlled auto locking system for safe and steady operation. The blade automatically locks at the length to which it is extended, allowing the user to control retraction and thereby reducing the risk of injury and prolonging blade life. This measuring instrument has wear-resistant markings for easy readability on the 1 in. W blade, which has a 7 ft. standout for extended reach. The unique Write-On Label allows users to jot notes and numbers on the side of the tool with a carpenter’s pencil.

The concept of this tape measure was a neat idea – to quickly find the center of a measured area. Depending on your math and knowledge of fractions it could be very helpful or unnecessary. The extra numbers clutter the tape. I do think there is a place for this but it is not an everyday measuring tape and I will only be using when I need to find a direct center – and still might do the math anyway.

I have had this tape measure for approximately one month. Each and every time I’ve tried to use it it works perfectly. The tape measure itself is very easy to read very retractable has excellent recoil and never fails to give me a quick reading without having to squint her put on reading glasses.

I really like the tape measure. It doesn’t hurt that it looks good too. i don’t think I’ve ever owned any other brand than Stanley. I would definitely recommend the tape measure!!!

Locking tape measures are so useful for solo jobs, but having to manually press the locking mechanism can be a pain. Having the tape default to locking open is a great solution, and the Leverlock makes it so easy to close! It has become my new favorite tape measure for that reason. It feels good in my hand, has some weight to it so it doesn’t feel “cheap,” and is easy to read.

I am very happy with the Stanley tools. This particular tape is great, the tape itself looks very resistance, retracts smoothly and is easy for a one man measure. The retracting lock is in the bottom of the tap, which doesn’t require you to put your hand on the way of the tape when it is retracting and hurt your fingers. Excellent tool, sturdy, well made.

I got this to replace my older Stanley tape measure, and there’s a lot to love. The build feels solid. If you drop it off a ladder, it’ll probably be fine. The lever lock is really functional (if a bit stiff at first). The downside, which could be a dealbreaker for some, is the numbers. They include 8ths written next to their line, which makes it really difficult to see feet, 1/4, and 1/2 inch marks. In theory, this was really cool. In practice, it makes measuring a pain.
