Great ruler. The leverlock is far easier to use than a standard locking tape measure.

Lever is hard plastic (looked rubber coated in the photo to me). Works great. Feels solid and well built

I’ve used this tool for many years, it’s the best of only two on the market whose default is friction-locked, press to release. All others are under constant tension of withdrawing, with press to lock, which requires manipulating lock with one figure in a certain way. It’s easy but the step need not be taken at all with the lever-lock, and release the lever-lock requires a simpler squeeze accomplished when holding the lock in almost any way.

Very rigid tape. Good when measuring into a tight space. Doesn’t buckle and bend like my old one.

Great value

Once you use this, you’ll know somebody finally got it right. This is how the tape measure should have been invented in the first place.

I’ve been using lever lock tape measure from stanley since the first one I bought years ago, I prefer this style over the push lock type because over time the push lock wears and doesn’t hold the tape in place, plus the edge of the measure wears making it difficult to read.

works as expected

Great value for the price if purchasing again I would have gone with the wider tape just for rigidity.

Its a decent reasonably priced tape measure for occasional homeowners use. I bought one for both my daughters and keep one stashed in the junk drawer to decrease tape measure vapor pressure. If you are a pro or heavy user, spend the additional money and get a Fat Max but for occasional use you can’t beat the price.
