Description
The Stanley 25 ft. LeverLock Tape Measure features a magnetic tip, fractional markings and an automatic bottom lock for steady operation. The blade automatically locks at the length to which it is extended, allowing the user to control retraction and thereby reducing the risk of injury and prolonging blade life. A magnetic end hook makes easy work of measuring metals like pipe, beams and ductwork, while the fractional markings ensure accurate readings every time. The unique Write-On Label allows users to jot notes and numbers on the side of the tool with a carpenter’s pencil.

The ABS frame feels durable, yet lightweight and it’s very easy to grip without accidentally pressing the release to retract the tape. I LOVE the LeverLock tape measure. The lever lock type doesn’t require sliding a brake button to keep the tape extended; you simply extend however much tape you need, and it stays out until you press the retract button and the spring pulls it back in. Nice thick steel with a good coating; I can extend the tape 8-10 feet before it folds from it’s weight. The fractional scale and markings are exceptionally well printed and easy to read and the yellow paint feels like it won’t flake off easily. If you need a tape measure for woodwork, building, crafts and around the house I wouldn’t hesitate on buying this tape measure. Absolutely worth the price.

This is a great quality tape measure that is affordably priced. Stanley has always been my brand of choice when it comes to tape measures. This tape measure is very easy to read and has a fractional scale for a more accurate reading. I love that it stretches out to almost 7′ without support, allowing you to complete jobs without the assistance of another. The magnetic tip has come in handy when working with sheet metal in my garage. Being a long term user of Stanley tapes, it’s great to see that they are constantly working to make their products the best!

I got this about a week ago and it’s just amazing. It has an auto-lock system that takes time to get used to if you never used one like it. But it’s very simple and nice once you get used to it. The stand out on it is around 11ft and the fractional readings are super clear and easy to read.

This is a great tape measure. I find the size to be perfect for carrying around all day. It’s amazing how they were able to fit a 25 foot tape into this comfortable compact size. The unit is not too heavy and comfortable to handle. Love the magnetic end on this tape especially when installing drop ceilings. will also use it for metal stud framing soon. I’m impressed with my Stanley Leverlock Tape Measure. It is incredibly sturdy, I don’t feel like it will break easily if it falls during a job. In the short time I’ve had the 25 ft. Magnetic Tip & Fractional Read LEVERLOCK® Tape Measure it has become my all time favorite measuring tape. It is a significant improvement on previous designs. It’s fairly compact and is easy to remove from tool apron pockets. The retraction mechanism is controllable and foolproof. The strong magnetic tip holds on securely, allowing me to extend the tape the full 25 feet, which is the way I expected the tool to work. The wonderful bonus is that the magnetic tip allows me to use the tape measure as a small parts retriever. The first time I used the tape, I retrieved a phillips #2 screwdriver from behind an appliance where it had fallen. The strong magnet latched onto the screwdriver and easily fetched the errant tool for me. It kept me from leaving the screwdriver behind or needing to move the laundry equipment in order to retrieve it. I lay the tape measure on work surfaces where the magnet corrals screws and nails. Very useful. Well done, Stanley.
