This nail puller is heavy, thick, and robust. Useful for construction applications, but oversized for removal of quarter rounds and baseboards. The quality of this tool is inherent and but its a bit too bulky for how I intended to use it. I would recommend this for those working on framing, decking, and fence building but not to those working on flooring.

I have used Stanley tools for some time but am really not satisfied with this Nail puller. The finish on it would not stay on the nail I was trying to pull, It kept slipping out from under the head. I suppose as I use it more that it will become worn and allow me to use my hands to put it under an exposed nail so I can pull it instead of hammering the daylights out of it to get to the nail head. The rubber on the handle is great for a hand pull, but when you have to hammer the tool to get it started to pull, it tears up the cushioning. It also is not good for a cheater bar again it tears up the cushion on the handle. Its a great tool for a DIY’er for simple use but as a tool for a builder it kinda falls short. Its well made but could use some minor adjustments.

The tool has a wonderful coating that has proved durable. It works as intended. It is nice and heavy duty. I do not see myself hurting this nail puller. The foam grip and nice. I have large hands and the nail puller fits them well.

Similar to the 11″ version, I love that this nail puller has such a slim end to allow prying up of tight nails. Also like the rubberized handle- needed when pulling and prying. Overall, it’s very small though with not enough leverage to pull larger or solid nails except for smaller projects. Overall very strong & compact, but leverage not as great. Very durable feel.

This tool is definitely replacing my crowbar. I don’t usually have a lot of nails to pull, but that’s the beauty of this tool… Its a crowbar that easily fits in your tool bag. I find myself using screws more than nails, so I don’t tend to use it as directed. That being said, I could run into needing to pull nails (I’m a photographer, and I build backdrops constantly), so having this in my tool bag just in case helps me rationalize getting it. The grip on this thing puts less strain on your hands when you really have to put a crank on pulling anything apart. It’s extremely light weight so just having it in your bag IF you need it makes this nail puller worth the purchase just to have a SMALLER alternative to a crowbar or pry bar.

One of the smaller nail pullers I own now, it’s good for very tight areas that hammers can’t reach.

I had the smaller Stanley pulled with the flat bar on the other end, and this one is way better. The grip feels great, it’s easier to get leverage. Only thing that kept it from a 5 is the thickness of the point on the puller is a bit large, so it doesn’t get under tight nails quite as easily.

Stanley’s 10″ Gripped Nail Puller has a very nice molded rubber grip which allows the user to easily handle the tool in use without fatigue. It’s a well designed tool that’s easy to use with great strength and durability which should provide decades of use. It’s exactly what I would expect from a Stanley Tool and it does a great job in removing nails from wood. I highly recommend this product.

It’s heavy duty. The bright yellow color makes this easy to find on the job site. Time is money! I also appreciate the cushioned handle.

A few weeks ago I got this product and the first thing I noticed was how heavy it was. It’s a nice, heavy tool that’s easy to use. Usually nail pullers only work on large nails but with this nail puller I was able to remove finishing nails. The only problem I see with this product is that the handle is noticeably lower quality than other Stanley products. But overall it is a good tool.

The “catspaw” nail puller has been around a long time with no changes so this is a step in the right direction. I would suggest using a more shock absorbant material that has the durability to survive the grip application. Getting rid of shock and vibration is always welcome.

Not a tool that everyone needs but a time saver if you have a ton of nails to pull. This nail puller is basically a small crowbar that has a rounder head to facilitate pulling nails with a shorter range of motion. It works as expected. The short length and rounded head makes it easy to pull a large number of nails in tight spaces. The rounded head does make it more difficult to dig out nails that are sunk into the wood.Works well with any nailhead and seems to grab on to nails that are missing heads if you give it enough force.Solid steel that will hold up to abuse and prying.

I haven’t got to use these very much. But i have some. These do work on pulling nails out.

I had to replace part of a deck that had water/wood rot and the Gripped nail puller pulled its weight? The head is designed to dig into the wood to reach imbedded nails and the rubber grip absorbs vibration especially from a “miss hit”. The bright yellow color use helpful in keeping it within reach when the going got hectic! Great tool!

I got this tool a couple of weeks ago and needed to pull some screws from some concrcrete tile underlayment. I drove it into the concrete board with ease and made short work of pulling the reluctant screws. Another job well done!
