The Stanley 6” needle-nose pliers are high quality and reasonably priced. Recomend them.

These are very sturdy pliers made of “forged steel”. The 6″ size is perfect for getting into tight area where you want to bend, twist, tighten or loosen something. There is also an edge for cutting. The inside is ridged to hold on fast. The handles are non slip and are very comfortable to hold on to. While probably not the best use for these pliers, I plan to use them to twist together several silk flower stems tightly. These pliers will be perfect.

The Stanley 6 inch long nose vice-grip type pliers is a handy tool for your toolbox. The jaws are adjustable and open all the way to 2 inches wide to grip larger items. The locking mechanism is vinyl covered, which is a nice touch when pressing it open or closed. These locking pliers are pretty versatile and can be used for plumbing work or just about anywhere you need a long nose set of locking pliers. The nose is actually 1 and 3/4 inches long, allowing for a pretty long reach for a set of 6″ locking pliers.

Fantastic for the price. Costs less than half of the others and is much better than the cheap quality ones that cost more from standard stores. Get two or three at three and a half bucks each!

I’ve always been a fan of stanley tools and to be honest I have used several brands and nothing is as good. I particularly like the soft end on release lever, can’t tell you how many times I have pinched myself locking other brands. And I like the click it makes when its locked and when it is released. I would suggest to oil the sides of the “teeth” since it feels like a rough surface to prevent rusting.

I needed a needle nose plier to replace a toilet seat hinge and this product’s price was too good to ignore. When I received it, I was impressed by the quality for the price. Thank you Stanley and The Home Depot.

Surprisingly well designed tool for light work. I found no gaps, no noticeable grinding and polishing flaws in the finish. Opening/closing was proper for a pair of pliers, i.e. not snug nor tight, I could open jaws with one hand no problem. There was no wiggle in moving the handles back and forth. I ran it through it’s paces, cutting, twisting, bending nails, making wire loops. I stayed within 12 – 14 gauge wires, cuts were clean but not every effective for stripping wires. Keeping it in my “kitchen” drawer, not my tool box.

Needed needle nose pliers to unscrew a stripped screw. This did the trick!
