I have been a Stanley tool owner for 30 years at least. In that time, I have never had a wrench, socket, or ratchet fail. I’m not a professional mechanic, I’m only a do-it-yourselfer. But I use my tools, I don’t baby them. Very good quality tools.

A very compressive assortments of tools which you may need for home and auto. I already used it to fix my dish washer ; dryer ; fence and my BMW

For the average DIYer, this is an excellent kit. Comes with pretty much every socket size you’ll need for most jobs, and a large enough selection that any odd sizes you need down the line can just be purchased separately. If you need more wrench sizes, you can always buy the Stanley satin-finish set that gives you a healthy range for all of $20 or so, and widen your allen key selection with the Husky set for another 20-25.But as it stands this makes for a great kit to build from. My only gripe is the latches on the case not being friendly to repeated use, this is solved with a proper tool box or chest.

It is a pretty complete socket set, and basic wrenches.

You actually get a lot of tools for the price, but the problem that I have with these sockets is that they don’t fit snug around the bolts. There is a bit to much play in them which actually makes it a pain to get a good grip on things. The other thing that bothers me is the hard plastic case. The sockets always fall out of their dedicated holding area, so when you open it up, be careful not to drop the sockets all over the floor.

I’ve had this set for probably 4-5 years. It’s a great mechanics tool set. I’ve used it a lot on my cars and others cars too. Lot’s of wheel bearings, sway bar links, oil changes, power steering pump, taking tires off and on, throttle body cleaning, etc. I could go on and on. Never broken anything. Then again, I don’t stand on my ratchets or use non impact sockets on an impact wrench like some people do. I like the good assortment of 1/4″, 3/8″ and 1/2″ sockets. It’s far from complete, but it’s portable, decently priced and high quality. It isn’t Snap-On quality but it can take some use and abuse. I really like how the ratchets are normal, unlike some Craftsman ones that need a special tool to disassemble them. These just need a small torx wrench and they can be easily lubricated and cleaned. Just don’t lose any of the pieces!!! The only thing I didn’t like is on one socket it has chrome plating that flaked off but for some reason others that I’ve used heavily haven’t flaked or anything. It’s no big deal though as I wipe a light coat of oil on them when storing them. I am satisfied and I highly recommend them. Thanks for reading.

I needed a set of tools to go in my work van and I wanted them to be all together. We never know what we will have to take apart at any time.Stanley and Home Depot must have known I was looking for this set and the price was unbelievable for the value. The tool set is way better than I thought it would be. Best deal I’ve got in a long time. What you see is what you get, Great value.

The tools w/lifetime warranty for a consumer set gets 4 stars. If I could rate the case alone i would rate it a 1 star since it’s not crafted well enough to hold the deep well sockets on place as well as others. I have this same set in the Craftmans brand & the case does a much better job retaining.

I needed a tool set for home the occasional maintenance on cars, lawn equipment, and prodjects. The sockets and ratchets are very very nice i love it. I dont not like the screw driver and the bits the bits are too hard to take out. The included box locks up nice but tools get loose sometimes. It comes with a lifetime warranty! I wish they included a extender bit for the largest ratchet. Overall nice kit highly recommend for the money!
