Bought this as part of a set. Perfect for those smaller side dishes to go along with the main course [sauteed mushrooms, roasted almonds, etc.] and obviously uses up less space on the stove top. The heat resistant handle makes it safer to use when cooking over gas as the metal handled Rock could get pretty hot if near the flame or baking in the oven. As with all The Rock pans, clean up is easy.

I love these skillets. Next to cast iron skillets, they are the best on the market. Plus they have the advantage of being lighter weight than cast iron. The non-stick surface does wear off after a few years, but this is not a big issue with me. Clear lid is great too, watching your food cook.
