I love it! I’ve used it quite a lot since getting it and everything I’ve made has came out well, so I suppose it must be doing what it’s supposed to accurately. It’s bigger than I thought it would be, but that’s my own fault as I guess I didn’t read the dimensions, so I’d suggest doing that.

This is a high-quality, handsome and easy-to-use scale. That it has a dial for kilograms (and grams) as well as one for pounds (and ounces) is extremely useful. There’s a little assembly of the pan-holder required, so have a screwdriver handy.It isn’t heavy so moving it around is easy, but it’s well-made.

I’ve been wanting a retro-style scale forever, but they’re usually quite expensive, and I couldn’t justify the price, since I’m using it more for display than for practical use. When I saw the price of this one, I jumped on it. It’s very nice, quite heavy and feels like a quality item, despite the cheap price. I can’t really talk about whether it’s accurate or not, but it looks nice! I would’ve given it 5 stars except that when I opened the box, the bracket that holds the bowl was not attached and there was only one screw and nut. Bummer! Rather than having to take it all the way back to the store and deal with trying to exchange it, I just dug through my screws and found one that fit. I don’t have a nut to go, but hopefully it’ll hold, and luckily, the bowl covers it, so it doesn’t show that I have mismatched screws. My only other complaint is that it doesn’t come in more colors. There are other scales on HD’s website, but they’re all more expensive. Would’ve loved it if they’d offered it in aqua, which is so popular now, or even white, but I’m happy to have one, even if it’s black!
