It cuts whole potatoes into perfect symmetrical shapes. To use, select the blade of your choice, position the potato and push the handle down. The Fry Cutter has extremely sharp 18/8 stainless steel blades and a strong suction base that clings to any flat surface as you work.

I wasn’t aware this comes with two blade sizes. It does not state on the box nor did it come with the box. Only came here to find out if the parts are dishwasher safe. Unfortunately they aren’t. Threw the two removable parts in the dishwasher because they were hard to clean by hand. Came out nice and clean. The other thing is the suction doesn’t work after a few times for me. I tried using it on the same spot from before. It would be nice if the whole thing was dishwasher safe!

The concept is great, there is nothing worse than preparing potatoes for frying. This machine simplifies the process. But it is just a little to small. They need to increase the size to allow larger potatoes, otherwise you end up with short fries. I don’t like the suction mechanism that much either, you have to spend a lot of time finding just the right spot on your counter that allows the device to stick firmly. But it does work well.
