works fine but expected it to accept potatoes larger than 3 1/2 inches. Also, the cutters squares are large so the fries a hard to cook all the way through without burning the outside.

I was very excited to make cutting French fries a snap. Sadly there’s no such thing it seems. It does what it says it’ll do but it’s not easy, the fries are crazy thick and cleanup is a hassle. I haven’t used it in a long time. Just get good with a good knife.

I bought this because, other than the base, it is made of metal. It cuts potatoes well. I would have given it 5 stars if I didn’t have to cut potatoes in half to make them fit in the cutting chamber. It is not long enough for “regular” size fries.
