   I needed a quick, easy and affordable solution to connect one of two display ports to a KVM switch that only accepts VGA connections. I searched on the B&H site and had plenty of options. The Star Tech Display Port to VGA Adapter solved my problem. It is small, easy to install and more affordable than purchasing a new monitor with a display port input.

   Many of our company users, in the call centers, run dual monitors. I’ve tried the monoprice brand and it fails after a short amount of time. Since switching to Startech I have not heard any complaints. I buy a lot of Startech adapters and will as long as the quality stays the same. This website always beats everyone else’s price as well.

   I have replaced all the DP to VGA adapters for my office computer (Dell OptiPlex 780’s). This adapter secures well to the computer and being it has a pigtail it does not extend much past the onboard VGA monitor cable. I have 35 workstations with dual monitors and non of these adapters have failed going on three years.

   I bought {much} cheaper ones’ and they failed to work. This one worked first time, every time, no issues. Gets my vote as does B&H for carrying it.
