The 6 foot cable that came with my monitor would not quite reach. I purchased a 10 foot 24 gauge cable, but it was way too thick! I was afraid it was going to damage the monitor whenever I changed its position.I replaced them with this cable and it works great. I hear that signal degradation can occur with DVI after 15 feet of cable and it is also dependant on the gauge of cable. At 10 feet there is no signal degradation on my monitor. I am running 2 Dell U2713HM monitors from a nVidia GTX 560Ti. Use this for photo editing mostly.
