I have one and I installed the drivers but it doesn’t recognize the device. (Windows 10)

Its own driver works for all windows Versions, included W10. It also works fin ewith Mac OS 10.10

Used between TEKRAN mercury analyzer and laptop. Allowed serial communications between software supplied with the unit to the analyzer in chemical analysis lab.

No-nonsense serial port. Works fine
Camryn Harris (verified owner) –
This is the only adapter we found that actually worked with Windows 10 on a Surface Pro 3. Tech support was great to work with as they answered my questions finding something to work.
Elian Stroman (verified owner) –
Works as advertised

I have three of these. It always works except with Win11’s latest Prolific driver. You might need to go back to an older version.

Like all Startech products, it works. I installed the driver, it asks me to reboot, I did (be sure you do) and I plugged it in to my USB port on my HP Spectra x360 and it works. One other mention, the quality. The Startech product looks good, feels sturdy, and made of solid material. I write this review because few companies have great products, even better support, and seem to care like these folks.
