The black 3-in-1 Mini DisplayPort to VGA/DVI/HDMI Travel Converter from StarTech is a compact three-in-one solution for connecting your Mini DisplayPort source, such as a desktop or laptop, to a VGA, DVI, or HDMI display, TV, or projector. It can support resolutions up to 1920 x 1200, one video output at a time. If multiple connections are made, only one of the outputs will function. The 3-in-1 converter is also compatible with Thunderbolt devices as it utilizes the same port as Mini DisplayPort. This adapter is plug-and-play compatible and bus powered, so no extra driver, software, or power source is required. Simply connect the corresponding wires and devices, and you’re good to go.

We have several of these adapters. We use them to connect to projectors from 2in1’s. Our only disappointment is the life. They seem to last a few months and then quit working. Sure wish they were more reliable.
