The gray USB to VGA Multi-Monitor External Video Adapter from StarTech is the perfect multi-monitor VGA solution for office applications and Internet browsing. It features a small form factor and enables a USB 2.0 port to be used with a VGA port. The cost-saving multi-monitor or dual display option can be used as an external graphics card for either laptop or desktop applications. This compact, USB-powered adapter provides an easy way to add a secondary or additional display to your PC.
The USB video adapter can be used with up to four additional (five total) USB2VGAE2 USB video adapters, creating multiple VGA connections for further extending or mirroring the desktop shown on the existing display; all without having to open the computer case to add extra video cards. The external device offers a simple upgrade solution, saving the cost and hassle of upgrading the internal video card on your system. The ability to use multiple adapters (up to five) provides a scalable display configuration for future expansion.

Many new laptops no longer provide a VGA port yet presentations may require this input. This USB to VGA Adapter solves your problem and allows for additional monitors. This review would grant a 5 star but the initial product was defective and needed to be exchanged for a working model. Works as designed and provides full VGA output. I also have the USB to HDMI version for newer displays 🙂

These are great for dual monitor setups and at a good price point.

Works great for that third monitor not supported by some PCs and docking stations.

its okay for secondary stuff. don’t expect video or anything beyond that to work. good for a chat service or to google things while remaining in game.

This is the 4th one I’ve purchased I believe, for various applications in our business. All work well, with very little disconnects through usb. Good build quality, good display capabilities for a quick dual monitor setup.

Does a very good job of easily adding a second monitor to a PC without a second port out.

Hi! I’m currently working with a laptop running Windows 7. I use the laptop’s screen and an aditional external monitor hooked up via VGA cable and it works perfectly. I now added the USB to VGA adapter and the image I got on the third screen is very detailed, very good. Althought all I got was the option to duplicate one of my two pre-existing screens onto this third monitor. How do I get the USB to VGA adpater to expand my workspace onto the third monitor? Thanks
