The black StarTech Male to Female USB 2.0 Extension Adapter Cable A to A features one USB A male connector and one USB A female connector. It’s a reliable and convenient solution for connecting devices to USB ports that are too close to one another (e.g. laptop computers).
Suitable for use with flash drives and other USB devices on your laptop or desktop computers.

I needed to adapt a poorly placed USB-A port to a device, and this small cable did the job perfectly. No issues.

This does the job but the cable itself is a bit on the stiff side so when not weighed down when connected it wants to straighten out unlike it’s depicted in the primary image. This is a minor inconvenience but it would have been five stars if it was a bit more loose and stayed put instead of wanting to remain straight.

attached to back of iMAC to enable me to attach a USB drive from the front. Good size and length. I wish they had white ones as well.

Do you ever need to plug in a usb cable to your computer but the cable is a tad bit short. This cable does the job. I was hooking up a few sub device and after running the cable I notice that the cable were short but I didn’t want to get a long usb extension cable. This item was perfect. Highly recommended.

Makes it easier to get plugged into tight spots. Saves wear on the drive.

I use the short (6) stubs for those annoying otherwise-unusable ports on USB hubs mostly. These stub cables seem to be sturdy and of above-average quality. The female receptacles are tight, but that’s a very minor quibble. So, no complaints (and believe me, I’d complain if warranted! I frequently voice invective at the producers of dumb software, especially the op-sys ;-). So far, I’ve not had any complaints about anything I’ve purchased at B&H, and I hope that it stays so. I can’t say that with a lot of stuff I’ve bought elsewhere.

Just what I needed to connect to the car USB port. I keep this connected so I can plug the phone USB into this. This way I don’t ruin the car’s USB by plugging/unplugging many times. The cable is well made. I like the latches it has on one end for a secure connection.
