Nice product but not good enough to replace my current stripper. The cutting edge is sharp and makes a nice clean scoring on the wire. But it doesn’t have wire gauge markings on the stripper for each of the 6 cutting holes. So you have to eye ball it. It also is missing a cutoff blade, so you’ll have to pull out your diagonals to cut the wire to length after stripping it. These two missing features are enough to make this one a give away. I like the compact size, it’s about 20% smaller than my current strippers. And the curved handle has a nice feel. It doesn’t have a spring loaded handle, but I think I would quickly adapt to that….also makes inserts to my tool belt easier. I have grown fond of the bright yellow handles on my current strippers. The black handles on this one are easily lost in my bags. On occasion I will also use the small plier ends on my stripper. This one doesn’t have any flat spots. It is a single purpose tool.

I like the size of this wire stripper, it fits in my shirt pocket easily and fits into spaces a regular size stripper won’t go. The shape of the grips and the rubbery material makes this tool comfortable to use. The teeth are very sharp, every time I’ve used this tool the wire stripped the first time. The only negative aspect is that there is no wire cutter, requiring another tool to be carried.

Mini Wire and Cable Stripper, 10-22 AWG are great. For something small these are hefty, well built nd cut like a hot knife through butter. Could not have arrives at a better time as an electrical problem in my PC needed immediate attention, these cable strippers did a fine job of removing just the shield and leaving a clean wire. I would highly recommend as a replacement set to anyone who uses cutters or a stripper regularly. The grip is firm. Action is smooth.

This wire insulation stripper works, removing easily the insulation from wire that’s .34 to 6.0 millimeters in diameter. It accommodates six diameters of wire. It’s compact, just 5½” long, so it fits easily into a pocket. Its handles are covered in vinyl so that even a strong squeeze, which I didn’t find necessary in stripping insulation, is comfortable. A red stripe at the end of each handle’s black vinyl makes the stripper easy to find in a drawer or toolbox. The hinge is adjustable with a hex driver, which is better than a cheap stripper with no adjustment which will eventually become loose and unworkable. This is a handy, compact wire stripper.

I chose this wire stripper to try something higher quality, and have something that I can more easily put in my pocket when doing work.I have a cheap generic brand wire stripper that works, but it’s so poorly made that I don’t like to use it. I also have a Vise Grip ‘automatic’ wire stripper, but it only works well on smaller, softer wires. Both of them are a little too large to drop in a pocket, and I don’t wear a tool belt for small home projects, so I’m always having to put them down and pick them up.This wire stripper works well, and it is nice and compact. The handles are comfortable and easy to grip, and it is easy to strip wires. The only minor drawback of this particular model is that it doesn’t have a spring. So for the benefit of having a compact design that will be easy to carry and store, you give up the convenience of a spring return. I don’t do a ton of wire stripping, so I’m okay with this trade off.These work great and I’m happy with them!
