Tool is compact and of sturdy construction, with sufficient range of Torx key sizes to handle most DIY jobs about the house. The tool grip material enables good control of the keys, and will swivel through a range of angles – much better than a single 90 degree option. Intend purchasing another tool, such that i can have one in the shop, and one in the truck’s tool box.

This is a excellent folding hex key set. Same length as my other name brand one. I have run into a few metric items at work and figured I’d pick this up for convenience. I do a lot of maintanence and many of the oil level plugs, drain plugs, and grease purge plugs are metric if the equipment is sourced from Europe. This set can break free even the most stubborn allen item.

I intend to use these in the tool bag that I can carry around with me. I have a complete set of Torx hex wrenches in my big tool box in my shop but when I am working somewhere other than in the shop I have a tool bag. A folding set of hex wrenches is a bit harder to use than the individual wrenches but that is more than made up for by having them all contained in one package. These are well made and are black oxide coated which will make them resistant to rust. The set includes all of the wrenches from T9 through T40 which pretty much covers the entire range of Torx fasteners.

A conveniently packaged set of eight common sizes of Torx drivers, this tool will not take up much room in your tool pouch and you will always have these Torx drivers at hand. Torx driver sizes; T-9, -10, -15, -20, -25,-27,-30 and -40, are secured to a thermoplastic handle with through bolts which act as both the pivot shaft and the force path when the tool is in use. The sizes are marked both on the handle as well as the shank of each driver itself. An elastomeric grip is provided on approximately three quarters of the handle, on the side where the larger drivers are located. As received, the through bolt on the side with the larger sizes was really torqued down, making it difficult to pivot the drivers out of the handle. This will ease up as the plastic wears in as the tool is used but it exacerbated the lack of finger grip room needed to grab the desired driver and pivot it out (without having to unfold ALL of them and push back the ones you do not want to use), especially for anyone with large fingers. The bolt can be loosened if one wishes to make the individual drivers pivot easier. All-in-all, this is a convenient tool to carry to have the availability of Torx drivers without taking up a lot of space.

Even though I have a full set of both Torx screwdrivers and apex’s for my cordless drill(s), I find this set extremely handy in so many ways. It’s great for those smaller screws or fasteners found in many of todays electronics and or appliances. They are becoming quite popular nowadays and it takes very little to strip them out. It’s very convenient to have all the sizes together in one tool and makes it easy to keep in the tool pouch, in the truck or in the portable tool box, whichever your choice happens to be.

This is a great little tool that anyone working on common equipment repair (assembling furniture, fixing bikes, children’s toys) should have in the tool kit. It contains many of the common sizes, the heads of the tools are very sturdy and well constructed. The tool is comfortable to hold in your and, also the handle itself feels very strong (in the case where a bolt is a little rusty, giving it some extra elbow grease doesn’t feel like I’m going to break anything, which is great).

I have a set of Torx screw drivers but I never appear to bring them all with me which means I may not have the right size for the job at hand. Having this set allows me to bring most of the commend sizes with me to get a job done. It appears more and more things are having these screws in them and are needed to replace parts or adjust something. The only thing is they are short, about 3 1/2 inches long and cannot be used where you have the need for the longer reach needed.

This folding TORX key set is very handy for working on small projects that utilize TORX or star head hardware especially with the convenience of having all of the common TORX head sizes available in one pocket sized tool that can be used as a screwdriver or as a wrench. This tool is approximately 4-1/8″ long by 1-3/8″ wide and is the perfect size for one hand operation as a TORX screwdriver by extending a TORX key parallel to the handle for working in tight spaces or as a TORX wrench by extending a TORX key perpendicular to the handle to achieve maximum leverage to loosen or tighten TORX head hardware.This tool includes sizes T9, T10, T15, T20, T25 on one side of the tool and sizes T27, T30 and T40 on the opposite side of the tool. TORX head hardware is used extensively in appliances, in automotive, etc.. The heads of TORX head or star head screws don’t slip or wear out as easily compared to recessed hex head (cap screws) or Philips head screws.
