This is a great little organizer for up to 12 loose sockets, easy to use, compact and functional.I had a set of long reach sockets sitting on the workbench and had been looking for a storage solution for them. I decided to give this a try and am pleased with the results. The sockets can be added and removed without too much pressure. It is easy to space out the sockets as the socket pins slide up and down the rail very easily. You can also remove the soft plastic plug from either end of the rail to allow some of the socket pins to be removed as needed if you have fewer sockets to store.I also have some of the more conventional pressed metal socket racks for my 3/8 drive sockets and appreciate the double sided design of this storage rail since it stores the same amount of sockets using a shorter rail.

I used to have to search for the right size sockets before getting this product, but not anymore. It is easy to install and remove the sockets from the holder. It holds the sockets in place and keeps the drawer cleaner. It makes working on projects easier, because you can take all the sockets with you at once instead of walking back and forth to the box because you need another size.

The 1/2 inch socket rail holds the socket on the rail very nicely, the biggest problem is with removing the socket from the rail. This would be perfect for the handyman type, but not for the everyday mechanic who is removing sockets multiple times a day because it will wear out the socket clip quickly. It would be nice if the socket rail was longer ,and had more socket clips .

This is a really nice product! The rail is made from aluminum and the socket holders are solid plastic with detent balls to securely hold your sockets. It is a great way to organize all of your sockets and it’s handy as well. You just grab the rail and take off. I have the SAE sizes that I use most often on one side and metric sockets on the other side. The square socket holders hold the sockets tightly and so far none have fallen off. It would be nice if this would hold sixteen instead twelve sockets as a lot of sets are eight piece sets. Then you could have a complete set of SAE and metric sockets in one carrier. The only complaint I have is the stickers glued to the rail keep you from sliding the holders around. I had to use a solvent to get them off.

Great upgrade to my socket organizer. My socket drawer is full of sockets and the organizer I now have has a handle on it which takes up too much room. The old one also made it very difficult to take the sockets off the holder, in fact when I was pulling them off the current holder to put them on this one, one of the sockets slipped out of my hand. Won’t be a problem with this one as I find the sockets are firmly held in place and are easy to release with the high quality latching mechanism. In the past I have tries several different versions of trying to keep my sockets organized, this is the best one so far.
