These candles burn a lot longer than any tealight candles I’ve ever used. I really like this feature, because if you use candles for a long time at a stretch, changing them every so often is annoying. I use them almost daily and I like how they burn cleanly, while being unscented and smokeless; exactly what I wanted. These are quality candles, made of paraffin and cotton wicks lead free. I am using them for my fondue burner as the original candle was long gone. These candles are suitable for just about any occasion, from birthdays to anniversaries to graduation party, and more. Arrived nicely packaged. They light easily and keep their flame. Four stars vs. five because they don’t last eight hours – more like five. I’ve burned about 20 of them already and none have lasted more than five hours. But still, a good value for the money and I will purchase again. I actually copied the idea in the photo – used glass vase marbles and jars – filled with water up to the marbles – as candle holders for my deck. I used jars with handles that are a bit fancier than those pictured, but the look is similar. Great idea! I also used the long burning tea candles in a set of three jars in a rustic holder that I got from HD and it looks fab on my vineyard table. Photo included.
