I am a SunJoe kind of guy … I have the garden tiller and pressure washer, and love both. Unfortunately, I feel like they dropped the ball on the mower. I am not sending it back, but I have two issues with it that are really design flaws that I would expect SunJoe to have caught before launching this product.First, let me say it is nice and light, very quiet, and the battery life seems pretty good. The charger is fast, and I like the safety features. My two issues:1) HEIGHT. There is NO WAY the top height is 3”. I think the mower cuts too short, even at its highest setting. I tried looking for bigger wheels (the standard ones are 6″ [front] and 7″ [back]), but the mower does not accept standard lawn mower wheels, just the specific ones that SunJoe created. These wheels are also a cheap plastic material, and offer very little traction, though my yard is pretty flat and this isn’t a big deal.2) FRONT WHEELS LOCATION. On other mowers (like the Toro this replaced), the widest items are the four wheels, so that when you go along a fence, tree, etc., if you get by with the wheels, you’re clear. On this, the middle of the mower has a kind of “fin” (see picture) that sticks out beyond the wheel base, so if you hug the wheel up against the tree, fence post, etc, the mower collides with the object. This “fin” is actually pointy, so it doesn’t just bump but actually gets caught in my fence, and marks up other items it hits. Even the upper handle knobs stick out and get caught in the fence … these should be screwed in on the INSIDE so that they don’t do this, something my 2007 Toro thought of long ago.Overall, I would characterize my experience as disappointing. These two issues keep this from being a great mower, and my expectation from SunJoe is that they deliver great products. I’m gonna keep it – it’s my third SunJoe product – but I wish it was designed a little better …

This electric lawnmower definitely met my expectations. It is not self-propelled but it is easy to push on my medium-sized lot. The batteries do not last for front and back yard mowing, but I mow one part, then put the batteries on charge while I edge, then I will finish the mowing. It is perfect for my needs.

I LOVE this mower! I have a comparatively small yard and didn’t need a large mower to do the job. This model is not auto propelled but you don’t need it. It’s very light (35 lbs I think), and even with a full bag of grass I can finish in no time (I’m a 53 year old woman). There’s an indicator that let’s me know when the bag is full and the batteries last a bout 45-50 minutes (enough for me to finish both front and back yards). I would definitely recommend this mower, and the Sun/Snow Joe line of products in general.

it works fine. I’d prefer a collapsible handle for better storage. It is somewhat collapsible but the hardware seems rather fragile and I don’t want to mess it up.
