I wish battery operated hedge trimmers were made lighter for a frail lady to handle, but I could not find any that was light enough. This electric/corded hedge trimmer seems light enough, but I have not been a ble to use it yet, as it can only be used in dry weather, and it has been raining a lot.

After one use, I’m not sure this is what I was looking for. Nice, lightweight hedge trimmer but I question if it can easily cut 1/2” branches. In fact, it stopped a few times on me and not quite sure why. My thoughts might improve with more usage but guessing not.

Hedge does a great job on trimming your landscaping from small shrubs and trees. It has power and of course being new the blades cut quickly. Drawbacks are the grip is uncomfortable in your hand and there us no “lock on” button or switch. I am sure this is a safety measure, but it causes your hand to tire quickly.
