I got this at a great price, and it works very well, but it is not large enough for what I wanted. That is my fault for not realizing the size of cut it has. I did not give it 5 stars because the safety button on the top is hard to push and mash the start button at the same time.

It’s light, and good for thin branch shrubs. Not sure how it will work on thicker branches, does not seem to be powerful for that kind of job. For light trimming it’s good as it holds the charge and light in the hand. Well priced.

This model of the Sun Joe Cordless Grass Shear is a huge improvement over the previous model. As I suggested in a critique of the older version, this new shear has a much more ergonomically designed safety switch and the blade no longer has the protrusions on the sides that restricted movement of the old tool in grass. The first time I used the new shear I was able to complete my task in record time with much better results. The hedge trimmer blade is something I will probably not use.

Very pleased with the Sun Joe Cordless Trimmer. Surprisingly, it is lightweight. The length of the hedge trimmer blade is long enough to do a great job of cleaning up those pop up branches on hedges. The grass trimmer blade does a nice close trim around areas that need a quick trim without dragging out the weed whacker. The Sun Joe also has good power to get you through the trim job. Lastly, the color is very appealing.
