My wife used the shears to dead head some hostas. They worked very well, but the grass head was just a bit wide. She thought it might be a bit heavy, but said it was not too heavy and did not tire her. She used it for about 30 minutes without resting. Overall, a good product.

A few years ago I purchased a Sun Joe cordless grass clipper for myself. This is one of One of the best garden tools I own. It holds a charge, is easy to recharge and is a great size. The two blades do numerous jobs and get into small spaces a Weed Wacker can’t. I liked it so much I purchased another for a Christmas gift for my daughter.

These grass shears are fantastic. I liked mine so much that I lent them to my sister for a week. She was so impressed that she asked me to order her a pair. I particularly like the fact that they can be used, start to finish, with one hand. All the other brands I’ve used over the years require both hands — in the absence of incredibly long fingers — to get them running. The higher voltage also makes a huge difference.

This product is exactly what I needed. It is very lightweight, easy to use, and powerful. My last one had wheels on it & was much heavier, much less powerful. and when the battery died, the manufacturer said batteries were not available & to throw it away, which was disappointing and wasteful. Also, the manual tells the owner to store it indoors (not a frigid garage) to best maintain the unit & battery, which is very helpful.

At age 63 I finally got my 1st very own outdoor power tool! The back of our 1 acre yard is nothing but brush & trees, so was real anxious to try it. (Previously used gardening shears!) In 2 1/2 hrs was able to clear a 1 foot wide 24 foot long section with the hedge trimmers before the battery wound down. Easy to use, and absolutely love the fact I could get it in purple. It is easy to use and put together and charges nicely; had to return other one that did not “charge”. Features I like the cutters for grass patches around my flowers and cutter for small hedges. So far, cannot think of any dislike of the product. I have had it for about a month. I had seen someone use it and she told me to get it at Home Depot. It meets my expectations.
