This trimmer / edger is excellent and exactly what I needed. I have the typical weed wacker and regular hand trimmers, but I needed something that would not whack the heck out of the side of my house or tire my hands out and this was the perfect fit for me. I love the extension and the battery life on this is much longer than what it reports to be. I used it for 2 hours straight and it never ran out. My neighbor liked it so much that she went out and bought one too! this is easily my favorite tool now. The Hedge adapter works well on light work such as trimming flower beds or higher grasses. I tend to use the edger attachment more frequently but both are very good.

The hedge trimmer works surprisingly well but the sheers are useless in my opinion. Maybe my fault for thinking it can take the place of a grass trimmer. All in all, so far the battery seems to last longer than the time I need it and it’s very comfortable in my hands. Gave it 3 stars because I really wanted the sheers to to the job I wanted it to but it doesn’t.

I love the grass cutting, ignores the stones. Have used it for some shrubs, too far from shop to change the cutter. I switched to the hedge cutter today; worked OK for a while, but if it hit a thicker stem it would stop. When trying to go on, the blades would clatter but not cut. I had to remove the blade (not easy) and reinstall it. The blade seemed to have jumped out of position. It would work OK until the next bump or stem. I probably got 5 minutes of work done between stopping; and 5 mins to wrestle the holder off and on. Too tiring to continue, hope it won’t mess up the grass cutter attachment.

It looks exactly as shown. You can use it with the extension or without it. The charger is a little hard to plug in and removing the lid to change between grass shear and hedge trimmer is a little hard to put back on.

I just bought this tool a few months ago and recommend it for people who want an easy, multipurpose no fuss trimmer. It’s a good all purpose tool and I find the battery lasts longer then the package states (which if I can remember correctly is 45 minutes). I like how you can take the trimmer off the extended handle so you have more control to trim exactly where you want which is good for those precarious garden boarders. As a petite female I found it way more accessible to use in size in comparison to my gas string trimmer which has a lot of kick back, is heavy in weight to lug around the yard and needs to have the gas, oil, and string constantly replaced. It’s also a lot quieter than a gas trimmer. With that said, I think this product is meant for regular light maintenance on grass edging and small bushes and branches. I had trouble cutting established cedar hedges. Some of the branches were just too thick for it to cut through.
