I never could get used to using a string trimmer without getting a wood chip or gouging the dirt here and there. This tool allows me to be more precise without doing any damage – especially in areas where I would have to turn the trimmer sideways such as along the driveway. This replaces other tool for 90% of the job. Two negatives: (1) I have to unplug the pole to plug in the charger. Just a nuisanse. (2) The power switch requires a lot of force to keep it depressed. After fifteen or twenty minutes of trimming (mostly with one hand – the one pressing the button), my finger doesn’t want to hold the button any more. More than a nuisanse.

Assembled went well. Tool works well. The only problem is when using the extension, you have to keep firm pressure on the trigger or the safety button will pop out and the tool stops.

This product is just what I needed. I’m 82 and have mobility issues. My only problem with it is switching from the grass shear to the hedge trimmer. It’s very “tricky” and I usually have to ask for help. Also at first plugging in the charger or the pole was difficult but it is getting easier. Otherwise, it is a great product and much easier than struggling with my string trimmer which involves managing a long electric cord.

It fits my needs. I cannot lift a weed eater anymore, so I was looking for something that would help me trim excess grass where the mower doesn’t reach. It also works on pesky plants growing in the driveway. I have used it for about 30 minutes and have not ran out of battery yet. I have not tried the hedge trimmer attachment as I don’t need it.

Love this trimmer! It’s my second one. Good value. Can’t speak to the hedge trimming function, as I use it only for grass. The hedge trimmer attachment is only 6″ long, so I wouldn’t expect anything heavy-duty from it.

I like the concept of not having to bend too much but it doesn’t glide smoothly on the edge of grass with the flimsy plastic wheels. Wish it were more durable and weighted on the wheels so it would glide smoothly. I have to slightly raise up the back part where wheels are to get it working more smooth. but overall, its better than my handheld sheers where I have to bend all way down to ground with bad knees. It gets job done with a little bit of maneuverability on my part.
