Easy to use, performs the tasks needed very well. My application (around and under a backyard play set) needs the handle to go lower than it does. It does a good job of trimming the grass around the majority of the play set without getting on my hands & knees using the handle, removing the handle is easy enough. At 71 yrs old I am not fond of getting on my hands & knees to trim grass. A weed eater (trimmer) causes too much damage to the structure and is not as effective as this style trimmer.

The grass shear part is well made and seems like it will last. It is easy to use by hand but harder to manipulate with the handle attachment. Hopefully it will get easier with more practice.

I purchased the cordless trimmer/edger thinking that it couldn’t do a large job! It was light, easy to use, easy to put together and did a great job. I have another Sun Joe product (limb trimmer). Very handy to use being it is cordless. Make sure you charge it fully & let it use up the battery before its recharged. The edger portion was a little tricky to put together but once you get it it works great

The Sun Joe 7.2-Volt 2-in-1 Cordless Grass Shear and Hedge Trimmer was exactly as i hoped for except the wheels are not exactly helpful when using in a not-so-flat garden (too small), I end up lifting the equipment by the extension pole and because I am a small person, the trimmer gets heavy on my arm after a short while. The battery life after initial charging was excellent. I love that it is not as loud and messy as a weedwacker and I can get into smaller places.

Like the light weight which makes it easy to use. The grass shears works great. Gave it only 4 stars because wasn’t impressed with the hedge shear blade. Did not cut very well and seemed to be dull. Otherwise I love it.

Easy to assemble and charge. A little heavy at the cutting end, but it cuts well and the rocks don’t bother it. Now I wish it had a broader blade, but it works very well.
