I have another one made by another manufacturer, which has the same power. But, the Sun Joe is much better constructed. I’ve been using this tool for about a month and it does the job. The only drawback is that it will only cut twigs less than a quarter-inch in diameter. So, the tool is great for light trimming only.

This is a good product, especially if you don’t want to get down on the ground. The extension pole has many adjustments for the pole, so you can put the shears/pole in most any position you could desire. A battery charge will last at least 45 minutes of running time. These shears are not extremely powerful but they do a good job on the smaller vegetation. It comes with a short length trimmer which interchanges with the shears.

I was hesitant because I have a cordless grass shear, but this little red machine surpassed all of my expectations. I used it to cut all of my hasta down which usually takes hand clippers to do, and it cut the time in half and swept right through all of the plants with no hesitation. I also used it to cut down a bank of Chameleon and it was done in no time. The Hedge trimmer attachment worked well, but could be just a bit longer. A great investment!
