Really like this mower. Easy to put together, light enough for me to pick up if necessary. Does a great on the yard; however it does not mulch and you have to use the grass catcher. This is mildly aggravating. I have taken to emptying the catcher two or three times and spreading the clippings around with a rake

This is the perfect mower for a small yard! It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, has enough power to do the entire lawn on one charge, and is able to easily cut tall grass. It really does a nice job. And, as long as you install the “Sun Joe Lawn Mower Discharge Chute Accessory”, it does a good job mulching. This accessory is actually a plug, so that’s what I’ll call it. This plug must be installed if you plan to cut the grass with the bag removed. If you remove the bag and do not install the plug, you will end up with clumps of cut grass on the lawn.For bag-less operation, the plug is really a must-have item. In my opinion, it should be included with every mower rather than offered as an accessory.

The first Sun Joe 40 volt Mower had to be returned due to a defect in the plastic holding the battery in place. I really like the fact that it is so light weight to push and I can get over an hour of mowing time out of the battery before I have to recharge it. Never having to worry about buying gas for this item is wonderful.

It works well when and if I can get it working. It is brand new but most of the time, despite following the manual exactly, the mower will not start. It seems to need the battery to be sitting in place for about 30 min first, then repeatedly press the start button followed by then depressing the handle lever and then pushing the mower a bit. Even still, half the time the mower wont start. Once it does, it works great. It is light, easy to maneuver, and cuts the grass well.
