Light weight, powerful and quit; but a concentrator attachment would be a nice add. Kind of a pain to pull a cord around the yard, but better than messing with mixing gas, the fumes/noise and trying to get the thing started (especially after not used for several months). This was an excellent value (got it on sale for $30).

This blower puts the turbine in the turbine blower! I was so happy to receive it! Our neighbors have an old Catawpa tree on the west side of our property. Its branches cross over and with the branches come the dreadful long pods. Thousands of these things come into our backyard every fall and winter and even find their way to other parts of our yard. Uggh. They are almost a foot in length. Many people call these “cigar trees.” I guess they’re fun if you want them. I don’t. Anyway, you can guess where I am going with this. I am getting older and the raking and leaning to bag these things is getting harder. BUT this machine helps me to compile them all in one area. It’s not too heavy, despite its power. It’s also easy to use. Having speed choice is also helpful. I was hoping to try it more on snow, but we had a strangely low amount of snow this year, so I didn’t get to try it out on that yet. I would guess it would work well on it, though!

got this because as I grow older it is harder for me to handle the gas powered blower my husband prefers, I am going on 65 and have an arm injury from an accident and this blower is very light in weight and easy to handle.I like the fact that it has adjustable speeds, so if you have light debris or are trying to get the leaves out of you flower bed there is a speed for that, and if you are cleaning grass clippings from driveways or sidewalks there is a higher speed. This one has a 8.5 AMP motor with 135 mph airflow at the max setting.Easy to change from 5 speeds, with a smooth gliding lever on the handle in an easy position to operate. Nice size blower opening to clear sidewalks, decks, driveways, and porches. This blower will not be one to use for thick leaves trapped in flower beds or ground covers. It is designed for easy clearing of pathways. Printed directions suggest only using an outdoor power cord up to 50 feet.Just over six pounds, this tool is easy to carry and handle for everyday tasks around the yard.This electric blower is a great product for the homeowner looking for a powerful and adjustable speed tool. This blower is at first handling feels a bit heavy, but after a few minuets of use and with the velocity of air blowing it really feels solid and powerful in your hands. From the rubber grommet on the end of the blowers cord where it attaches to your power cord it becomes obvious that the manufacture has thought out what you need to do the job without other problems. The speed control is positive and easy to adjust for velocity, but in my case I enjoy top steed and really blowing the leaves ,dirt, and grass away. Also great to blow of the front and back porches and the outdoor furniture.

A simple blower packed with power. The unit is shipped in two pieces and assembling the tube to the blower is easy. The rotary switch for variable speeds is in a convenient place for operation. The extension cord restraint hook is a nice addition so the cord stays put and doesn’t unplug as you wave the blower around. I won’t know until the fall if this is good for the heavy wet leaves but it cleaned up the leftovers from winter with ease.

We were blown away by the performance of this reasonably priced Sun Joe leaf blower. The performance really surprised us. We needed to clear our decent sized back yard of a large amount of huge, wet Sycamore leaves to get ready for spring mowing season and really didn’t think that this unit to handle that tough material. Boy, were we wrong. It easily and smoothly got up to its full CFM and it easily moved the wet material into a nice compost pile in minutes. The unit is very light, yet quite powerful. The nozzle is the perfect length for us, easily reaching the material to be moved and delivering maximum air flow. Having a cord will definitely limit you in terms of the size of the area you can cover, but if your yard is suitable, this unit is a great value. No need to worry about running out of charge halfway through the job or paying for a number of large expensive batteries that fail after a few years. Tying the unit’s power receptacle to the extension cord, using the recommended knot/loop to prevent it from unplugging and using the strain relief is a must, but is easily done and ensures no pull out issues. Using the tool was super easy as well. The throttle is easily adjusted with an easy to read thumbwheel and the unit’s balance made it easy to use for extended periods. If you’re wearing loose fitting clothes, you do need to be sure not to let the material get sucked in front of the air intake as it’s pulling in a lot of air and will choke off the flow if the clothing blocks the opening. We’re very pleased with this unit and highly recommend it.

A had a good experience with Sun Joe previously using one of their pole trimmers. Having an equally bad experience with my Craftsman blower I opted to get this model as replacement. Installation is no frills, just clip the front cone on and that it, you’re ready. There is a nice dongle for keeping the power cord secure. The handle is comfy and a rolling thumb selector dictates your speed. It’s about as loud as you’d expect, but not more so than a gas version for sure. I actually like the sound of the speed changing, it sounds like jet spooling up a bit. It’s done a great job thus far cleaning off the drive and patio of grass clippings after mowing and doesn’t take up too much space in store. Thumbs up.

As we still have snow on the ground I can’t really test this on leaves right now. I tested this blower by blowing a box across the floor in my house. It is very powerful and is about equivalent to my old blower which is quite a bit bigger. I also used it to blow dust out of my garage.This blower has an extension cord restraint hook so you can attach the extension cord so that it doesn’t get disconnected. The blower had a roller switch, with 5 different speeds, which is easy to control so you can change the blower force depending on what you need. The blower is compact and fairly light which is good.I like that Sun Joe provides different manuals for English, French and Spanish. Normally companies try to have them all in one manual so I cut the manual apart and staple it together. I have a lot of Sun Joe equipment and generally I’m happy with it.
