I bought this because I have carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis. I read the other reviews and then got this on sale for less than gas mowers. It’s my first cordless and I love it. It’s quiet and light. I can lift it with one hand. Easy push button start. I can mow my from yard and my neighbors plus my backyard on one charge. I like that it automatically slips into high gear if it encounters thick grass. It’s easy to charge and store. High gear does use more juice but then I just charge for an hour or so and then finish. Love not having to worry about gas, oil, spark plugs, etc. I’m sold on Sun Joe

This creature is just amazing., 23 lbs and it works better then most 50 lb machines. If this failed in 6 months from now I’d get another. Love, love, love it. It looks like a toy but it’s a workhorse.

I found this mower to be adequate if you have a small yard, with very thin grass. My yard has some thicker grass areas and it will rev and churn at these areas. The grass clippings bag fills quickly and needs to be emptied a lot to prevent the revving.

Using it for a second season now. It is lightweight and works reasonably well, battery is OK. Annoying thing is that height adjustment is poorly designed. It’s quite awkward to adjust, and worts thing is that it always jumps to the lower position while mowing, one wheel at a time, making lawn look awful. I put cable ties so it stays in place but tbh it’s not the kind of engineering I’d like to see on a commercial product, for any price. But if you prefer lowest setting, this would not bother you.

It is exactly what I expected it to be – cordless convenience, so lightweight I can hardly believe it – I have a steep hill to mow which all corded and gas mowers with gears were so heavy to push — this one mows it without any pressure! It takes 3.5 hrs to mow my front, side and back yards and it did it on one charge. Perfect!
