Using it for a second season now. It is lightweight and works reasonably well, battery is OK. Annoying thing is that height adjustment is poorly designed. It’s quite awkward to adjust, and worts thing is that it always jumps to the lower position while mowing, one wheel at a time, making lawn look awful. I put cable ties so it stays in place but tbh it’s not the kind of engineering I’d like to see on a commercial product, for any price. But if you prefer lowest setting, this would not bother you.

Lightweight, runs and cuts great. Not thrilled with with grass catcher. Seems like I was constantly having to stop and empty it (and I have a really small yard). W/O the catcher, I only had to stop once to dislodge clumped grass.

This was easy to assemble and charge. It is the easiest mower, I have ever used, to start and it cut my tough weeds and grass very well. It stores well in my small storage shed. It is easy to push and I love the leaf/grass clipping collector.

Only recommend for a small area, but it does great for that. Love the easy start with the battery.

Have had this product for a year, great to use on small/med lawn but low top-end height of cutting means grass gets burned more than it should. Also, slipping of wheel/height adjustment while mowing means having to adjust 4-5x each time out. Ordered larger wheels from another model through Sun Joe but they don’t fit / not possible to replace once initially assembled. So close to being a great product!

The best purchase so far this season! I own a townhouse with a small shared lawn. This mower is a Godsend for my needs. After having my loved ones come and mow for me, as well as hiring the neighboring shared lawn that was so expensive, I finally decided to purchase something that I could manage on my own as a middle aged disabled woman. I ran across this mower that had the appealing features of lightweight, no gas and pull start, and the price was more than a bargain so I decided to give it a try. From picking it up from the store with no problem, it fit comfortably in my trunk, to easily putting the handle and other minor parts together I was ready to go without expecting to mow my lawn that first day. I did so without any problems as the battery was already charged enough to handle the area I will mow regularly. And the grass catcher held all the clippings with no problem. I am very happy with my purchase. Thank you, Sun Joe, for making this yard job so easy for women like myself that would normally have to rely on someone else or pay a hefty price. You are a life saver!

I love my sunjoe lawn mower. It’s soo lightweight and does a great job. It’s easy to move around. And when it arrived at my home i read the instructions and had it put together in 10 minutes. I would recommend this product.

the mower is light and does its job; however, the mower doesn’t have much traction; it also chokes on very tall grass

It’s easy to turn on and it’s light but my biggest struggle is the short battery life. If the grass is longer you can only get a few strips done before the battery drains. With a normal length I still can only get either the front or back yard done, it takes 5 hours to fully charge so it’s a full day project to mow your yard. With a gas mower it only takes 40 min to mow my yard.

It works for my son to have a mower for cutting his small yard and then storing it in his rental home without danger of harmful fumes around his family.

Works great on my smallish yard.

it works ok. Not as easy to manage as I had hoped

Great little mower which may be one of its faults, it is so light that I have to put a couple of small sand bags on it to help weigh it down.

i like the color it is easy to get up and down the back porch stairs.

Older folks won’t like pushing this one, however, it’s a nice mower, well-built, and did a good job.

This little lawn mower is like a Sherman Tank! I am a 67 year old women with a few medical conditions who would pay someone to mow my lawns, Now I can do it myself. It is easy lightweight and easy for me to handle, plus it is electric. I was able to mow my front yard, side yard, and back yard on one charge before having to re-charge the lawn mower. The grass catcher was another bonus! It made it so much easier to dispose of the grass clippings. I was able to remove and replace the bag after emptying it into a lawn bag.

I wanted an easy lawnmower for me because I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I bought a Sun Joe electric lawn mower. It is light enough for me to lift and I plug it in and charge the battery and it did my side yard and all but the middle of my lawn before dying. I’m charging taking a break and should be able to finish it in about an hour. No gas no spark plugs so easy. Push a button and go! I’m happy with it! My next Sun Joe will be wider. It also will probably do the whole lawn if it’s not as long and not as wet. My only wish for future generations of Sun Joe’s is to add something to the handle to keep it on as it is hard with Rheumatoid to hold that down the entire time. I may figure something out for me.
