First setting up is 4 screws and your ready super easy plug and go. My gardener MIA during Coronavirus, grass was 7-12 inches and thick this lawnmower on low setting took it down. So the reviews that said stalled 3-5 inches, must have cutting something else. I’m 64 woman and this was so easy to setup and just mow very light to push. I’m completely impressed and would highly recommend, I have the MJ403E electric 17inch it looks heavy and big but handles incredibly well.

I purchased my first SunJoe mower a year ago. Unfortunately, it developed an issue. But not to worry! Sun Joe replaced the machine, just like the warranty says. THE HANDLE ON THE CUT GRASS BAG HANDLE IS NOT GOOD AS IT SLIPS OFF EVERY TIME ONE TRIES TO EMPTY THE BAG.INSTEAD OF BEING SNAPPED IT WAS BETTER IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SCREWED.0THER THAN THAT IT IS OK.

Although it’s too early to fully write a comprehensive review, for the short period I’ve had this lawn mower, it’s worth it. The mower is light and mostly made of plastic and looks like a toy. But don’t be fooled. The blade is super sharp, cuts my lawn extremely well. My only problem which is minor is the handle used to empty the grass easily snap out when you take it out. Besides that minor issue, all is well.

So, we have had this lawn mower for a couple months. What we like is how lightweight it is – ease of assembly & use – cuts the grass well.Our frustrations with it are the electric cord holder – too hard to insert it in to hold the cord up (ended up using some velcro to hold it in place). Also, the push-in handle for the grass catcher is poor design. Difficult to click into place – and pulls out when removing the bag from the mower to empty the grass – very frustrating! Fix for that might be to thread a strap through the holes the handle clicks into to be a substitute handle. So, while we like the mower – dislike the accessories & would not recommend it.

This is my first electric lawn mower. I was skeptical. My MJ403E is very light and easy to push. The entire mower is pretty much all plastic, so it won’t rust. Even when my lawn grows tall, this mower doesn’t even slow down. Once I learned how to manipulate the cord by pre-staging it on the lawn, that issue has not been a problem. I use a 100 foot extension cord and, per the instruction manual I use a 12 gauge extension cord. The motor never bogs down. The only problem I have had is the grass catcher. The first time I grabbed the handle to remove it from the mower when it was full, the handle pulled off in my hand. This happened a number of times. I finally had to glue the handle to the grass catcher.

Upgraded from the Sun Joe 14 inch mower to the 17 inch mower. Really like this mower much better. Easy to use, Easy to store. Easy to adjust the cutting level. Not sure I will ever use the two lowest cutting levels as there is too much chance of ruining the blade on debris or the ground. The two lowest levels are very low. Always good to order a spare blade with the mower.

This is a replacement for my rechargeable mower that gave out and never had much power or battery life. Decided to go for a corded version to not deal with recharging batteries and do like the power of the Mow Joe. The various height adjustments are a nice feature. The extension cord takes getting used to, but purchased a bright yellow to keep it in sight. Very happy with the Mow Joe as it pack a lot of power and everything you need in a nice compact, light mower!

Very happy with lawn mower. I have a medium sized lawn that has various flower beds and I can maneuver it easily around beds. It cuts extremely well and I don’t feel as tired as I did with old lawn mower that weighed a ton! Don’t use grass catcher (is a bit top heavy), but I never use grass catchers. Also since I don’t have a garden shed, I can clean, pick up, and store easily in basement for next time. Thank you! Very happy!

The bar that is gripped to maintain the power while mowing is too thin (less than 1/2″ in diameter). My fingers were hurting while I was mowing. I recommend wearing padded gloves.
