I chose this mower for its ease of operation; it is light weight (less than 25lbs) and the quality. It has easy to understand and large print instructions. Just a few screws to assemble it plus its smaller size to store in the barn. It is also Eco friendly just keep it clean and drop of oil. I don’t have to get the fuel or spark plugs to operate. This manual reel mower is eco-friendly, good exercise and simple to maneuver around the yard. Good size and its ease to get under the bushes. The blades are sharp to cut the grass evenly it’s 16” cut is the right size to keep the mower light weight.

It’s very easy to push, it even handled spots that had grown longer before I obtained the mower. The first time I used a higher level and it looked good, but then after a 2nd pass at a lower level, the lawn looked great!

I have never used any mower that wasn’t gas powered before and wasn’t sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Assembling the mower was very easy, no tools required although it comes with an Allen wrench that adjusts the spring tension. I had a little trouble on my first attempt to use the mower but discovered the blade setting was too low and used the easy adjustment to raise it a few notches. Once I got started pushing it and watching the blade swirl around while slinging up clippings, it was fun. I had to go over a few areas where it didn’t cut thoroughly but was having so much fun I didn’t mind. No starting ropes to pull, no gassing up, no loud engines; just grab and go! It may not be as much fun after the newness wears off but right now I’m having a ball with it!

This mower comes ready to use with just a quick handle assembly. It holds up well, having the two back wheels for support. This is an interesting feature to me, as my previous Reel Mower only had the two front wheels, I like it though, because I can easily leave it upright and step away without worrying if the handle will fall.What I love about this mower is that it doesn’t require any gas or electricity. I can mow the lawn with my kids playing outside and no one is yelling over a motor noise, and I don’t have to worry about gas fumes.Well build product (not our first Sun Joe, we love their products!)
