Did not get to use it much, barely started and blade hit a pebble and broke.

Love this Weed eater. It’s light weight and easy to use. Cuts really well.

It’s very loud. It’s a bit heavy to maneuver. I wish it came with small wheels. I’m not sure how sturdy the blade is, and how long the blade it’s going to last, because I’ve only used it a couple of times on small patches of grass and not close to any obstacles.

It is 100% better than the string Trimmers (10 stars)

Alright, but “deck”/shield slipped and was chewed by the blade on first use. Will use again but wearing a full hazmat suit to protect myself (LOL).

I’m a single woman and do not have the skill or patience to deal with “string” trimmers. I see the neighborhood guys having to fix theirs all the time. So, I went on the hunt for a trimmer without a string. This trimmer/edger seemed to have all of the features I was looking for and that it was operated with an electrical cord and not a battery. I’ve used it several times and it is very easy to work with and does a great job. The edge guard is a great feature to allow me to trim right up to the sidewall of the landscaping beds.

I like this trimmer because it is lightweight and it has the fixed head blades instead of having to deal with string. It cuts like a dream. Very pleased with it.

It works a lot different than a string trimmer , and it will take some time getting use to io it, but I’m satisfied with it .

Easy to use, works just as promised, even better! Did not have to assemble!

for those that have trouble with the blades, like I, and many other reviewers have had. I don’t see why you don’t make an attachment with the nylon strings. If the blades are a problem for you, you have to buy a whole new trimmer. I will go to a stringed electric trimmer, but not a sun joe

The blades are great for thicker stalks like blackberries. My stringed trimmer wouldn’t touch them. Not too heavy to use for extended periods, and the blades lasted despite hitting some large rocks really hard! This machine paid for itself already because I didn’t have to bring in a landscaper to take out the blackberries. Yay!

If used according to the directions (based on a lot of reviews I don’t think many people read them) it works really well. It seems very sturdy and durable. Note that the guard has to be pretty forcefully snapped on, in which case you couldn’t remove it if you tried (some people complained about it not staying on.) Unfortunately, I only used it once but I gave it a fairly good trial run in long, wet, grass and it still worked very well. The trick is definitely keeping it level but it has plenty of room for adjusting to the position that works best for you. Truthfully, I have to say that anyone going through lots of blades has to be a little dim because I can’t see that happening when used correctly. The bad news is I’m a 76-yr-old woman and it was just too heavy for me to use on a regular basis as I have a back problem. So I have to try to return it but definitely my problem not the trimmer’s.

good for short grass trimming. Tends to stop cutting if your working on long weeds

I like not having to load plastic line on it. Cuts well, lightweight and easy to use. I don’t particularly like that the blades slow or stop when they hit something, however I understand the reasoning behind it. Descent price also.

The edger is great. However the blade is not very durable. After one use, the blade was almost half gone. The replacement blades are very expensive. I bought a metal replacement blade for a different edger and hope to use it instead

Easy to assemble, works as described, down draft necessitate going over an area twice.
