I bought it thinking it would be good to have and was skeptical about the claims of it being powerful. I was wrong. The blower is quite powerful. The only things by you have to keep in mind is if you want to switch to pickup mode, you have to change the attachment and add the bag. Otherwise, the suction is quite powerful too.

“Outstanding” is insufficient to describe the quality of the Sun Joe SBJ603E 3-in-1 Electric Blower/Vacuum/Mulcher. It is well designed, lightweight, durable, and easy-to-use. It is the first electric leaf blower I have ever had and the first blower I’ve owned (the others were gasoline engine-driven) that survived more than 30 days. The variable-speed switch is a nice touch. The unit has an internal thermostat that activates a cut-off switch when the unit overheats. It’s hard to believe the lightweight unit can actually produce wind speeds of over 200 miles an hour. It’s best to use the slowest windspeed that will do the job — to prevent overheating — otherwise, you will have a 30 minute wait for the unit to cool and the switch to reset. (Don’t ask me how I know that.) The lower the ambient air temperature, the less likely overheating will be an issue. When used as a blower, the handle is on the top, placing the wind-jet tube horizontally, about 4-to-6 inches (10-to-15 centimeters) above the ground, perfect for pushing leaves — even when they are wet. The mulcher does its best job, reducing dry leaves into the finest mulch, when operated at high-speed. I am thrilled to own such a reliable tool, and you will be, too.

This leaf blower works awesome! Lots of power and the fact that you can control the speed that it blows is great! I used the mulcher and it works awesome on completely dry leaves, but struggles with damp leaves! When vacuuming leaves you have to be careful to not suck up small sticks or pine cones, cause with a plastic gear for mulching it kinda chews up the gear! All things considered I truly believe this is a great value!
