I bought this mainly for the vac feature. The unit was replacing a 20+ year old Craftsman.i was not disappointed. Strong blower with a lot less noise then my old one. The vac thought small bag wise is a great feature. I just emptied if often. Only got to use it twice before the snow hit. I’m ready for spring cleanup. Worth it.

It is huge and taller than me almost. I’m 4 foot 10. Not much power and they must be using a different one in the commercials because it’s not very strong and difficult to use

Many leaves in rock border, thought blowing em out – wrong. They were wet and wedged in tight. With an ordinary blower done. I converted to vacuum and with an optional poke stick I did itI take movies and pictures, but not tech savvy and don’t use social mediaAdd a Cross X shoulder harness to help hold it up and add a place for blower tube when vacuuming

Readers; This writer was in search of a basic leaf blower, to clean up some hard to rake places of my yard. Being unsure if this tool was ‘just marketing’ or actually useful, I spent the small amount here, to make the test. Its my first such tool, so I have only the function, and use, to judge it with. It came in good order, with the parts intact, and a real instruction manual. OK, next up a test in a flower bed hemmed in by the porch and a rock wall, that was always hard to rake. So a quick assemble, plug it in and WHOOSH! the leaves are out. Hey Ho! this thing works! With some practice I got the lawn leaves{Willow & shrub sorts] into a large pile in less time than a rake. Test is good so far, next up mulch. So, I transfered the tubes to ‘mulch’ and-OOPS! first I need to remove the dog from the leaf pile-and tried that feature. It works as expected on leaves. For pine needles it just picks them up. Either way, the things are off the lawn. Next up, the debris on the gravel driveway. And it works well there, sucks up the pine needles, small twigs, and some willow leaves. It works fine to blow the leaves and such from the fieldstone retaining wall. The finished work looks better than a raked driveway. And its not just for yard work; I used it to sweep out the garage floor, the sawdust from my woodworking shop floor, and to vacuum a rug in the house! You should wear eye protection at the very least. Earplugs and a dust mask are handy. This thing will truly blow the dirt and small rocks about.. All the controls are easy to find and use, The attachments are bulky and akward, but useful and well made. And I note there are parts available should you need them. So I would rate this as a very good, decently designed and constructed entry level leaf blower and mulch machine. I have several of this companys products, so I expect several years of useful service. Yes, the trade name is absurd, but the products are very good for the money spent. For a small yard, get the plug in sort and save the ‘song and dance’ of batteries, chargers, & wait times. Battery powered items may be the trend, but that does mean its right for everything. I think i will buy a camp sort of solar panel with a house hold style out let, so I can do the larger parts of the back yard. So, if you are in the market for a basic leaf machine, this is one to consider,

The blower works really well. I had a 605E and it created more velocity but the 603E does a good job. Haven’t used the vacuum yet

Surprise! Better in all respects than expected.

I would have liked a shoulder strap, it started to get heavy as I vacuumed the leaves.

I returned this item, unopened, because a few days after ordering, the more powerful 14-amp model was being offered at an even lower price. So, I purchased that one instead.
