Much more impressed with the vac than the blower. However, this machine does the job I need it for and it is so much easier to bag leaves from the vac bag. Sadly, the blower is not strong enough to move large piles of wet or damp leaves as well as I hoped.

I bought this unit to replace a Toro blower/vac. HD was offering a great price-promotion, so I figured it was time to replace the Toro which was still working but the plastic clips on its housing that secure the vacuum tube had broken off which required some rigging. Haven’t had an opportunity to use the Sun Joe much since leaves haven’t started falling yet. Although, I immediately noticed that the vacuum tube on the SJ unit is narrower than the Toro. Hopefully that won’t be an issue. I will use this unit (like I did with the Toro) mainly for vacuuming leaves. Will probably take a while to get used to the controls on the SJ after using the Toro for the last 11 years. Based on other reviews, I believe it should work out fine for my needs.

Really good product. I enjoyed using it, and it did a great job. It’s light and easy to handle. I love the ‘walk-behind’ feature – it’s like running a vacuum. I am not young, I have osteo arthritis, and lupus. If I can use this, I can’t imagine many who can’t. Being able to help around the outside – simply cleaning the patio and stairs, makes me feel useful. Hubby was concerned that it was ‘too much power’ for me, but I showed him! lol I was darned proud of myself for doing this. It’s a real boost for me. I also bought myself a SnowJoe last winter. Yay, me!

Bought this strictly for the vacuum function, since I have an awesome blower already. It works well at sucking up leaves and debris in crushed-rock landscaping. I knew going in that the bag position might be less-than-desirable, and that proved to be true. Most vacs have a rearward-facing bag, with a shoulder strap for support. At about half-full, the whole thing becomes a little heavy to control with one hand, and the bag drags on the ground. I ordered the Electric Blower before the leaves started to fall and was disappointed when I didn’t get the actual delivery (estimated) date until after I had paid which would have been after all of the leaves were on the ground. I was delighted when the tracking system was totally wrong and the product arrived early. I almost cancelled the order which could have been avoided with a more accurate tracking system. The product is great – the adjustable wheels at the end of the blowing tube make all the difference.

It does a good job blowing leaves and the adjustable level of power is handy. The product arrived with a broken attachment and Sun Joe quickly sent a new one. Good customer service. The vacuum feature is pretty useless. Tried to vacuum up sawdust and my tiny shop vacuum would out perform by a mile.

I have used this only one afternoon for 2-3 hours. The blower is very powerful at the max level. I had to change the level to a little lower for my preference.The vacuum/mulcher works very well. I turned bags of leaves and wood shaves into mulch. I ran through 3 times to make it smaller since I have big leaves and thick wood shaves.It’s more powerful than I expected.
