It worked very well for the small area that I need to keep clean

Great value for the money. Suction works well, bag holds a bit more than I expected, and the blower’s great. This is a lot of bang for the buck.

Well designed, easy to use and an incredible value. For the last several years, I had been using a gasoline-powered Echo, also purchased from Home Depot. It did the job remarkably well. It always started and vacuumed/mulched the leaves and other fall debris surprisingly well. I think it’s a fine product and would still recommend it. (I have given it to my daughter and son-in-law.) By comparison with the Sun Joe, however, it is heavy and frustrating to use. The Echo weighs about twice as much, and you’re also carrying the weight of the leaves, which can be considerable if the leaves are wet, on your back. In using the Echo for the first time this year, I came away with a backache that made it difficult to sleep. With the Sun Joe, on the other hand, the weight of the unit itself, as well as the leaf bag, rests on the ground. In vacuuming, I simply roll the Sun Joe back and forth, never actually lifting it. Moreover, the leaf bag is easier to attach and remove. The Sun Joe is no less powerful than the Echo and vacuums the leaves just as well. To my surprise, however, it even mulches the leaves more finely. Also important, unlike the Echo, the Sun Joe is not prone to clogging. With wet leaves especially, the Echo clogs easily. When clogged, one has to remove either the vacuum tube or the discharge assembly, or both. Neither is easy to do. You need a large screwdriver to remove the discharge assembly. Using the Echo, I easily spent perhaps a third of my time clearing clogs. I have yet to clog the Sun Joe. If it were to clog, I can see that it would be simple, quick job to clear it;.While both units can also be used as a blower, I bought a separate (Ego) blower because it was so difficult and time consuming to change over the Echo. For that reason, I have not used the Sun Joe’s blower capability and can’t really comment on how well it works. It’s pretty clear, however, that it would be a simple matter to change over the Sun Joe and also use it as a blower. The Sun Joe cost a third of what I paid for the Echo. With the Sun Joe, however, you need to consider the added cost of getting a heavy-duty electrical cord and a workable reel system for storing it. I spent almost $90 on 100 feet of 12 gauge (15 amp) electrical cord and another $44 for a storage reel with built in winder. This Sun Joe is a 14 amp unit. If you were to use a light extension cord, it wouldn’t take long to burn out the Sun Joe’s motor or melt the cord..

Great for the fall…

Have only use the blower and that works outstanding, make my job easier for faster clean-up after mowing the lawn and picking up grass clippings left by mowing on sidewalk and driveway. Recommend this product.

Quiet and easy to use does a great good of mulching and blowing!!

Easy to use and works realy well picking up and mulching leaves but the tube keeps disconnecting, a better hold on the tube would make this a 5 star. Overall it dose work realy well for mulching leaves and the blower function is just as good.

works as advertised, leaf bag appears weak around zipper area, otherwise no issues :cuts required time to collect /mulch leaves in half.

Pretty solid, sucks well and blows even better. Not great for wet leaves, so I usually ust use the blower here in Seattle.

assembled easily, has a decent suction and blows harder than my current one. I”m using it on smaller water oak leaves and it picks them up – but doesn’t get the acorns. overall I’m pleased with it.
