I have 5″ wide gutters 3/4 around my house with an aluminum roof; I also have a front porch/atrium and small older attached greenhouse( both difficult to clean around). It use to take a full 3 hours to clean the gutters because of all of the trees in my and my neighbors’ yards…all of the work by hand, using a ladder, and moving it step by step all the way around my house. I was so tired by the end of the 3 hours, I had to wait until the next day to clean up the leaves which had been thrown onto the ground. With this Sun Joe electric blower w/gutter attachment it only takes about 2 hours to blow the leaves from the gutters, and clean up the leaves as well! I still use the ladder to check and clean my 8 downspouts and see how bad the leaves are before I start with the blower. But the job is almost fun now; and without the fear of falling off my ladder, which I did at one time last year. That made up my mind to get this blower for this year; and I was extremely lucky my fall was not too bad. This model also has a powerful motor too, and can blow the leaves very well on the concrete parts: my double driveway, sidewalk, and street. I do not use the vacuum part since I use just the whole leaves for lawn mulch using my electric mulching lawn mower, and mulch for my flower beds too…no waste for me. I did have to reinforce the gutter extensions with duct tape at each connection since I used all but one extension for my 1-story house; as they tend to come loosely unscrewed with use, which I found out with my first cleaning. But that is alright…maybe Sun Joe will make the connection screw ends more sturdy in the future. Water in the gutters does make a difference, so I clean the gutters before rains come, and now I can do it about every 2 weeks during fall through spring so the build-up does not make the job harder. I do have to go back and forth, as I go, over the gutters to get most everything out(I can’t see what’s there from the ground). Anyway, I am very happy with my purchase of this Sun Joe blower model w/gutter attachment. I have only had it a little over a month, and wish I had bought this type of blower years ago.

It works pretty good, especially better then the one that I purchased first that did not have the wheels on the front. It has a lot of power and sucks up the leaves and small pieces of branches on the concrete well and I use it to suck up some leaves in the grass as well. It is quite heavy and difficult for my wife who is only 5 foot to use so only I use it.The biggest problem with both is that the bag drags on the ground at the zipper causing it to wear open a hole so I had to buy extra bags. I do not understand why the bag is not smaller at that point because numerous people have complained about the bag wearing out. It started developing a hole on both of mine the first time used so some kind of protection on the bag at that point should be added or it made smaller.

I would have gave it a 5, but they do need to relook at the design of the gutter attachments. They come loose too often and is inconvenient but otherwise did a great job. As a 57-year-old 5‘2“ woman that doesn’t like ladders, it did the job! The vacuum was better than I expected. The bag is a bit cumbersome, but not too difficult to handle while emptying. I did use it without the bag (which they say for safety is not recommended) with no issues just being careful to make sure nothing was in the path of the discharge. This cut a days worth of work into a few hours and the mulched leaves are good for my grass. Overall this has been a great investment. I wish I would’ve purchased it a few years ago and saved myself a lot of hard work and money paying others!

It’s purple. As if that isn’t cool enough, it has adjustable wheels. I have several large trees and this worked like a charm. Easy to put together and easy to use. I love the bag hooks on machine and I don’t have to wear it. Saves the back. I enjoyed using it and had several people comment on the color.

Blower is not that powerful. The extension piece worked ok but still had to climb a ladder to clear out the debris. Also note it is kind of heavy using it with the extensions. The suction on the vacuum was not worth using. Good for small jobs.
